Strumble Head Lighthouse by Moonlight
In a winter storm I visited Strumble Head Lighthouse at lunchtime, but the light wasn't particularly good. However, as it is West facing I decided it would be worth waiting till later in the day to catch the evening light. When I returned I captured a nice sunset image and a few sunburst images. But as I was driving off I really felt my images hadn't done the location justice, they lacked meaning and atmosphere. So I turned round and waited for near darkness to catch the lighthouse in its element - illuminating the headland in rough seas, warning passing ships of the dangers that lurked.
